Greenisms Licensed Outdoor Education Program

The Greenisms Licensed Outdoor Education Program (LOEP) exists to help independent operators deliver immersive, hands-on nature connection experiences that:
increase participant confidence in outdoor environments - Encourage systematic thinking and integration. Help the audience learn how environmental systems connect together.
 
demystify camping and backpacking systems - Make the concept of ‘wilderness’ less scary for the average person. Make equipment terminology easy to understand.
 
build environmental literacy and stewardship ethics - Treat the land as a resource to be cared for and responsibly managed. Educate on unforeseen impacts of carelessness.
 
encourage long-term engagement with nature beyond the program - Set the audience up with the knowledge and confidence needed to repeat the experience
The framework is designed to be accessible, adaptable, and educational, rather than elite, extreme, or performance-focused. Outcomes are focused on education and confidence building.
